More and more I have seen rain nutrition popping up all over the internet. It appears to be all the buzz with the social media scene. What I have not seen is proper MLM training for their distributors. Its important to learn how to generate your own targeted leads. Mostly what I see are distributors promoting the business and I have not yet seen a valid review of the company or its products.

In this article I am going to take a look at the companies products and pay plan. Let us look together and see if this is a legitimate home based business for the anyone to prosper with.

I believe that Rain Nutrition is a new company that started in the spring of 2009. Their products are related to the health and wellness industry. I found two products that intrigued me, soul and rush. Soul is a liquid nutrition that contains a variety of supplements. According to their website soul helps to replace cell energy, have excellent anti-inflammatory properties and works to improve your over all immune system. I have not personally tasted the product, but judging from all the talk it must taste pretty good.

The second product is called Rush. (cool names I might add) This product targets the billion dollar energy drink market. According to their website, this product provides you energy without any side effects of jitters or crashing that is usually associated with drinks that have tons of sugar. Again, I have not tasted the drink but I have read that it is pretty good. Which I think is a plus, we all know a lot of energy drinks are not known for their flavor.

The company has partnered with Dr. Arnold Leonardo with the purpose of creating an on-going supply of nutritional products. I am not familiar with him, but a quick Google would provide that information for you.

It looks like Rain Nutrition has a weekly pay plan that pays out fifty percent of all commission-able volume. A distributors income will be based on product sales through their organization. One can make a large income stream if they are able to move product through their business and teach others to do the same.

I was able to download rain nutrition’s compensation plan in pdf. Its twenty pages long and provides most information a new distributor may need about getting paid. Starter kits range from $125-$1000 with seven generations of pay, including a car bonus plan. New distributors are encourage to familiarize themselves with the plan.

Although every company boasts a unique compensation plan, rain nutrition plan appears to be common with most.

Rain Nutrition appears to be a new MLM company that is attempting to establish its credibility within the health and wellness industry. Their opportunity is similar to other companies offering individuals the opportunity to make money. We all know that its not the company that creates success, this is up to the individual. If you want success with Rain Nutrition you need to have a coach and mentor to teach you the marketing skills to generate leads for your business.

The bottom line is this, you need to understand how to market. Making a list of friends and family will never provide you with any levels of success within this industry.

Although rain nutrition looks like a company with good products and an opportunity to make money. You need a marketing system in place, one that does not promote your opportunity. Never, ever promote your primary businesses website.

I know this might not make sense to a new person. Even if your a rain nutrition distributor, find out why you should never promote your primary opportunity. Save yourself years of failure and frustration and become a student of the industry. Get educated and learn how professional network marketers generate unlimited leads for their business.

Keyword research is one of the most mis-understood topics, too bad its the most important process when article marketing. I am going to explain how to target words that have a good amount of daily searches and that are going to get you on the first page of Google.

I do not care what type of content marketing your doing. Videos, blog, reports, articles or classified ads. Everything you do should revolve around a topic that is searched online. You need to be laser focused with your content or all of your work will be wasted. What is the use of being on the first page of Google if nobody is searching? This series is all about traffic and how to generate tons of targeted leads to your site.

The number one search engine on the internet is Google and they provide a great tool to begin your journey. Google will provide you with a lot of the basic information you will need to begin with. You need to already have a free account with them. Most of you probably already have a gmail account and that will do. If not then this is your first step. Once you have your free account, then bring up Google.com and type in keyword tool. the first site that pops up will be it.

Leave all of the settings on default and lets begin to brainstorm. In the box that states enter one keyword or phrase per line, type “MLM Leads”. Or whatever you want to search for. Enter the captcha code and click the button get keyword ideas. Google will bring back several columns of information. The first column is the phrase you typed in and a list of related terms that are searched each month. The column marked global monthly search volume is where you need to focus on. The number is this column represents how many times the word or combination of words (phrase) is searched for globally in a month. I do not bother with anything less than 1000 searches a month. Every marketer is different and this is a personal choice.

Next I like to click the add button for each of the keywords that I want to check for competition. Remember only select the words that have at least 1000 searches per month. Do not waste your time with anything less then that. You can also click the link that says global monthly search volume and this will toggle the keywords with the most searches to the top. Do not worry about anything else at this point. Just grab a pretty good size list.

Next click the download to text file button on the right and Google will automatically take all of the keywords you selected and place them into a notepad list.

If you have not installed the free keyword tool at SEO book, SEO tool for firefox, I highly recommend you do. You will need this tool to research the competition.

Keyword competition research is very important. It can mean the difference if your article or video makes it to the first page of Google. This of course is our goal. So do not skip this step.

With SEO for firefox installed and turned on, copy and paste your first keyword from your notepad into a Google search bar and click search. Under each of the top ten results is the information that SEO tool returns. I want you to look at the page rank (PR) Each site will have a page rank of 0-10. Count up each of the ten sites and divide that number by 10. Anything under a 3.0 is a good keyword to target. Anything over 3.0 is not worth trying to rank for.

Finding keywords for article marketing is just that simple. Find a word or phrase that is being searched for at least 1000 per month and make sure the top ten sites do not have an average page rank of over 3.0. Article marketing does not have to be complicated and if your follow this simple formula for researching your keyword you will begin to achieve the results your looking for.

Network Marketing has been around for a very long time. I would go out on a limb here to say that most of your warm market have been involved with some type of home business. It does not matter what the product or opportunity is the idea is still the same. Usually it starts with an invite to some sort of party or home meeting, right? Or maybe the next door neighbor shares a diet cookie with you. How about the dreaded call from your relative that has gotten involved with another one of those Pyramid Schemes.

The concept of being able to work from home and fire your boss has been around for decades. The days of Rich Devos and Jay Van Andle going door to door selling Amway are long gone. Don’t get me wrong, Amway is a great company with great products and still a global opportunity that has billions in sales every year. I am just saying the 3 foot rule style of marketing that Amway introduced is over. For the most part, more on that later.

If it wasn’t for Amway paving the way I don’t think the home business industry would be what it is today. What really needs to change is the idea of making a list of your friends and family when you start your business. This is called your warm market and folks I am here to tell you, it just is not what the doctor ordered when it comes to building your business. With today’s global economy if your not leveraging the internet to markeet you business, well lets say your leaving a lot of money on the table.

Here is the problem with making a list of friends and family. Sure you get started with a product or opportunity and you’re really excited. Your upline gives you a page that has a list of every type of person that you come in contact with on a regular basis. memory jogger, you have one right? Examples of this would be your mail carrier, teachers, friends, family, neighbors, church or other social club friends…etc. Anyone could make a list like that pretty quick and most of us would have a large list.

Great, now we have a list of at least 50 people. Let me show you how quickly this list will fade. Out of those 50 how many actually want to start a business from their home? How many would buy what your selling, and if so how many would buy your product more then twice? What if this was not your first try at a home business? Now some of those on that list are thinking here we go again…right?

I am not saying forget your friends and family, but keep in mind that list your upline wants you to make is not going to build your business.

Today we have the internet. Our market has opened up to everyone that has a computer, an internet connection and desire to make additional income from home. No longer do you have to prospect at the mall, bug your family, mail out expensive fliers or worse yet make cold calls after wasting money with buying leads. When taught proper internet marketing techniques, your phone will be ringing and your email will be full of hungry people raising their hand for help with their business!

This business works when you are taught by someone that does not have an agenda with taking your money. If you already have a company or product you like great, don’t quit. Just stop spending yourself out of business with options that are not working. Become a student of the industry and educate yourself about how this business works. Ok, back to MLM business leads. There are many places to generate leads for any MLM business. The problem is most people do not understand how to target them. This is mistake number one. Mistake number two is, most people try a little marketing here and there then quit. Maybe spend a couple of days on facebook or writing a blog post or two. What happens next? No leads and you quit, stating that this does not work. It does work, you just need the skills to master one MLM business lead generation technique before you move onto the next.

Social Networking is quickly becoming a very large audience. Facebook, twitter, youtube, myspace just to name a few. What these sites have become is a very large ocean of people arguing with each other about how their businesses are better than yours. Wrong, wrong and more wrong. What is the difference between blasting your opportunity on someones facebook page and walking up to a stranger in the store….nothing. There is no difference.

Video marketing has also exploded with popularity. There are more than 25 different sites that host videos. Again with everyone blasting why their MLM business is better then yours. Even if you get a few leads from these sites, with that kind of marketing how can you compete?

Lets go back to becoming a student of the industry….and providing value for everyone that you encounter. Remember when I said that the number one problem with most people is creating MLM business leads for their business? Maybe study what the number 2 problem or number 3 problems are that people are having with their business. Help others solve enough of their problems and yours will all be solved too!

Twitter can be a great marketing tool when used properly. Following people that are related to your niche is a great way to meet new people. Just as important it is to follow people, you need to use the twitter unfollow golden rule too. Read along or watch the video for these tips on how to search using the twitter search tool, follow and bulk un-follow people. If you do not have a twitter account I highly suggest you get one.

Twitter is an amazing site. Use it by itself or with other social media sites like facebook to build relationships with people associated within your niche. Go ahead and log into your twitter account and open a couple of other tabs too. The second tab, you will want to go to: search.twitter.com.

Inside you will see a basic search bar that you can type anything in you want to search for. Twitter will provide you with the user-names and latest tweets from whatever keyword you choose. You can also click the advance search button. Here you can search people, places, dates and a couple of other more targeted choices.

Begin to look at peoples tweets, bio’s and websites they provide. Decide if they fall into your niche, then click to follow them. Some will automatically follow you back and some will take a day or two to decide if they want to follow you. Take your time with this and only follow around 25 or 30 a day. I am not sure what the magic number is but remember this takes a little time.

If after a few days a person has not followed you back then it is time to stop following them. This is just a general rule of thumb and there may be times that you want to follow someone or a company, just to receive current information from them.

This is great free site that allows you to bulk un-follow. Most of the time it is working but there have been times I have found that it has not. So bookmark it and just keep checking. Also, it does take a little bit of time so please be patient. It is not instant once you hit the whack button!

Enter your user name and password for your twitter account and then hit whack. Once your information is returned, click the drop down button and select only follow. This will list those that you follow, but they do not follow you back. Scroll down to the bottom and hit select all, then bulk un-follow.

I would do this once a week. Remember to never bulk un-follow after you have just added a bunch of folks to follow. Give them sometime to decided if they want to follow you back. Twitter unfollow is a very important step in keeping your twitter account fresh.
