All I can say is if you ever get a chance to see Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, go. Angela and I went last night to one of his 3 hour seminars in Greensboro. It was great. Tom has been in the business for along time and he really knows how to make it fun. Tom teaches skills, so if your looking for a pep rally I would not go. But if your looking to pick up some skills and get your business going, then attend.
I asked my wife to write what she had gotten from Michael Dlouhy’s book, Success in 10 Steps.
Here is what she wrote:
I was recently given a book by my husband called, Success in 10 Steps, written by Michael Dlouhy. I have been involved in a few different network marketing opportunities over the years, so I was intrigued, but skeptical.
After I opened my mind and started reading, I was pleasantly surprised how hard it was to put down. I began to understand why I had not been successful in the past with network marketing. I began to understand that in the past I had not been given very good advice about network marketing.
My favorite chapter in the whole book was chapter 5, color personalities. Shut up and listen! Listen to what drives people. Listen to their desires, needs and fears. Listen, listen, listen.
Imagine that. Its not all about ME? What are you kidding? In the past network marketing opportunities I was consumed with ME, right? WRONG. Its about studying people. Michael refers to it as finding their “Sweet Spot.” He also says its about “relating, not recruiting.”
People check your “All about Me” attitude at the door and open your mind to learning and actually caring about the people around you. How can you help them?

I asked my wife to read the book, Success in Ten Steps. This book was the beginning of my journey to diamond. After she read the book I asked her what she thought. WOW, I was so blown away at what she told me. I told her to please write a little something about it. I am going to share that with you in a little bit.
My story or “My Why” for building my network marketing company is not your typical “Why”. Its just that this is what I want to do now. I wanted to of course find a company but equally as important I wanted to find a mentor that was using a duplicatable system…..so the story began.
Luckly for me I had a short journey and only had wasted about $600 on leads when It had hit me. I had joined a company that encouraged each distributor to purchase leads. Ok I can do that, so here I go. I would call each lead, introduce myself and followed what they said to do. I was planting seeds all over the US! Finally after spending $600 I sponsored a lady that lived in Florida. She was so excited and asked me, “Ok, what do I do now?!!” I began to tell her about the online tools that the company had and what I was doing……oh my, did it hit me. I am getting ready to tell this lady to buy leads…..and I have spent $600 to sponsor 1! I could not do it. I told her the truth.
So your traffic tip of the morning is……Do not buy leads!

I was thinking about, what in life is free? Sometimes when we see that something is free, we automatically think there is a catch. Hmm, I wonder why this is? Could it be that there are so many scams or marketing ploy’s, to get our hard earned money? I know that the internet is full of thieves.
Today with everything so expensive maybe we are taking a closer look at the word “Free’, closer then we would have maybe only a few short years ago. Fuel price’s have certainly hit everyone, everyday. If one did not understand that this country runs on oil…..well, we all understand that now! How about a trip to the grocery store…nothing free about that? I am not sure what your spending on food, but I am sure its more then last year.
It really boils down to this….you either have to make more money or find things to cut from your life, its just that simple. I have found that more and more people are looking to start a business from home, but are caught in scams that are designed to take their money. I talk to someone everyday that has been involved in some “opportunity” online where they did not make any money….only lost money.
So I know when I titled this post, Free MLM Training, what you may already be thinking:) The question is what in life is really FREE? How about the price of a hug from a loved one? A friendly smile to someone you do not know? A kind gester, with nothing expected in return…..HMMM What could we come up with?
